Big & Tall Office Chair With Lumbar Support, 400lb Capacity

I received this chair today. Chair appears to be sturdy, but not wide. If you need a wide chair, it is not for the big and tall. I wish l had ordered from Walmart got the same quality chair. It was easy to put together.

Chair was great at first. Perfect size. Purchased 12/5/25. A month and a half later and the seat is already torn. I am not a large person by any means. Not ideal as I’m unsure how this chair is going to last…

It was relatively easy to assemble. It was about what I expected. It looks really nice, professional. Arm rests are padded nicely. Seat has decent padding, but definitely not to the "wow" degree. In other words, it's acceptable.Cons:It's a little wobbly where the seat attaches to the bar. That should be a much snugger fit. The arm design isn't logical. If you want to rest your arms on them, you can't type or use the mouse. They are too far back and too low. The arm rests are only useful when leaning back and not using a computer.OK. Let's have an honest and candid discussion about size. This is supposed to be a big/tall chair with a weight capacity of 400 lbs. I am not 400, but I am plus-sized. It's not wide enough for all-day comfort - if you work from home or spend a lot of time in front of the screens. The parts of the arms where your butt is the widest is hard plastic that is not padded. The arms hold the back in place, so you can't use it without the arms. It also doesn't lower far enough. For ergonomic reasons, your femur should be parallel to the floor. Mine are not. It's too high.I can't believe how little this chair is and still called big/tall. I'm scratching my head over that.Measure your sitting width and compare it to the chair before you buy it. Make sure you add an inch on each side for comfort.Since comfort is my #1 priority, I'm giving this 3 stars, and I feel that's generous.

first off, fast FED GROUND delivery... also height of seat to 21 3/4 is excellent for longer leg users, two great observations in the purchase. fed ex ground delivered a dusty box and other items to farm on dusty hot road... was expected .... not a normal day... smaller box, chair is in there...opened box in center of room and ready for assembly... i have put chairs together before for the various computer tables.. assembled with viewing picture instructions... inventory was on par with one extra screw lag for short and long grommets...Allen wrench is big L shaped and quite handy .. assembled in 15 minutes..wheels went on the best ... must be firm with seat screws as one seamed stripped and then gripped... one chair rest is lose , but with some lock tight, will grip... for a rated Big and tall chair, seat height is there, actuator is easily controlled, arm rest are nicely padded, but short... 34 inch arms here, so rests need to be 3 to 4 inches longer..seat is hard and with 24 hrs seating, already depressing.... so you will lose your leg height to floor from seat...i am 220 clothes on ..chair rated to 400 pounds.... it can make chair less stable, so no rough housing in chair .... for a foam, the seat is quite hard.... not an 8 hr chair, although i thought was rated for longer seating... this is a smaller chair for a Big and Tall executive, not really a Big Tall man's chair... i am over 6 ' 2 and shoulders or at top of back.. high back seems 46 inches though..no real head rest.. shoulder rest there though, but don't snap your neck back stretching.... repeating good things... great Allen wrench, SOFT ARM RESTS, excellent HARD BASE with WHEELS, and seat height will equal 21 inches give or take seat depression, incredible fast fed ex ground shipping......now the BAD, not so comfortable, tiny tall executive chair, screws can easily strip so be positive on the attaching to grommet and aligning up, and the worse for last, THERE WAS A TEAR IN THE BACK CUSHION ON TOP EDGE OF CHAIR.. probably happened in packing or on assembly line... very thin material... after assembly, so tough to return in boxing up again.... i am thinking lock tight on my screw and gorilla tape on my tear.. i would return if easy to box up !!! it was only a 130 purchase with the coupon discount.. be well , be safe... UPDATE: company refunded price of chair. AMAZING....

I ordered this chair 3/25/22 the same weekend I moved into a new house. The chair was supposed to be delivered in 2 -4 weeks. The chair was delivered two days later, but because I was moving, and had lots of orders being delivered to furnish my home. Quick delivery is awesome - but Amazon kept showing that the order was going to be delivered and never showed delivered. Eventually, I get a notification that the order had been delivered about a week later. I reached out to the seller and they assured me that it had been delivered. There was confusion on my part because I hadn't checked all the boxes as they were mixed with moving boxes and 3 other desk chairs that were ordered from my family and Amazon was still showing not delivered. I eventually found the chair and put it together. I've had the chair now for about 3 1/2 months and it's doing that thing where it slowly slides down when sitting on it. Now I am well within the weight capacity limit for this chair. I don't think for the price that this soon after I'm dealing with it sliding down. The chair looks nice, and sits pretty comfortably, but I am disappointed that I spent so much and that it's already malfunctioning. I paid much more than the price that's showing discounted today for those questioning my point about what I paid for the product. I guess I did get what I paid for.

I have had my chair for over a year. I use it constantly, in my kitchen. Sound weird, I know, but I have need for smooth moving chair in kitchen. I have smooth tile floors in my kitchen, so it is easy for a roll around chair to go from one end to the other. I have extreme back issues and missing joint protection in both of my knees, so I can not stand in one place for more than a couple of minutes. My kitchen is too small for a full wheelchair, so this chair has helped me. I feel that all these kind of chair are flawed, personally, because they are meant to break down, so you will have to go out and buy a new one. I think they could fix the Problems with Air Pressured chairs, by making the adjustment height GROOVES, instead of AIR lift. This will help the longevity of the use. But it still helps having the rollers !!

I'm 80+ and sometimes it's hard to give up the 'old chair'...that was me!! I finally realized the old chair had to go! I searched and searched and I kept coming back to this chair. I put it in my favorites and as I'm still looking, I find myself coming back and reading it again!! Finally, I can't stand my 'old chair' another minute....I go back...check my choices and decided I had to have this chair and ordered it. It came really fast (like it knew how badly it was needed ;-] ) It was very easy to put together with just a little help from my son toward the end....so now is the moment!! I sit down in the chair...I can't believe how it feels! Absolutely FABULOUS!! I'm trying to remember why I waited so long! Well it's here now....I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT...AND SO DOES MY SON...AND MY GRANDSON!!! Thank you for a FABULOUS CHAIR!!!

I searched a long time before choosing this chair. The thing is, a $400 chair generates exactly the same complaints as this one does in the reviews. So why spend more? The grey color was discounted, so it was a great deal. I'm a big guy, and I wish it was slightly bigger. The seat is wide enough; the armrests are a tad too close in. But it does the job. No squeaking or annoyances. Reasonably comfortable. You can't fix the tilt at a custom angle. But it doesn't lean back all that far, so "all the way back" is just fine for relaxed video game playing with a controller (just an example, of course. ahem). I pulled the inline-style wheels off my old chair and put them on this one. Unlike the cheap wheels that are included, skate-style wheels will not break and make changing direction easier when rolling around. It's also easier on the carpet or the wood floor. I recommend those for any such chair. But I digress. The chair was very easy to assemble. I did it alone with no trouble. However, the included allen wrench has no long side or short side. It's the same length on both sides. This makes it hard to turn the bolts in tight quarters. Recommend using your own, although I did get the job done in 45 minutes or less using the included wrench. Have been using the chair a month and am very happy with it, not least because I think it's just as good as a chair twice the price.

Order processed quickly, shipped quickly. Packaged neatly, no damage. Easy to assemble. Sits comfortably. Good purchase, good value. I am very pleased.

If you want a nice looking, sturdy chair that sits you very upright and is firm to the point of being stiff, this is a chair for you.If you want something more cushioned and doesn't sit you upright like a wooden kitchen chair you should look elsewhere.I'm 5'11" / 200lbs and it doesn't feel at all like a "big and tall" chair. In fact it feels just barely big enough. Seat cushion could definitely be a bit longer. I cannot imagine this fits someone that hits 300 lbs. Been a fair number of reviews that say the cylinder for height adjustment leaks down . I won't ever know as the lowest position still is a tad high for my computer desk.Some parts of the listing for the chair say leather, some say faux leather. It's a nice looking vinyl that does a good job of mimicking leather. This is what I expected so I'm not disappointed.Comfort is a matter of taste so I feel conflicted about how many stars to rate the chair. As I said at the beginning it's attractive and appears well made. If it were simply softer/more comfortable, had a bigger seat cushion, didn't sit you so upright and had a bit more range on seat height adjustment it would be five stars. But I find myself wondering if it's worth the time and trouble to take it apart and fight getting everything back in the box to return it. If I return it I'll probably just look for a bigger box and not try to fit it all back in to the box it came in.Meanwhile, I'm just going to give it a week and see if the chair grows on me or grows in comfort. I'll update review if needed.

It's a good chair and for a bigger guy it's comfy enough, the only problem at least with mine is that there is a screw that sticking upwards on the armrest, and the cushion on the armrests are only so-so in quality so they flattened quickly, and now ever now and then I'll just get poked by that screw. Otherwise it's been decent though for a chair rated for bigger folk it does definitely get to creaking fast and i'm 100 ibs lighter then it's supposed carry capacity. Not bad but not great, if you catch it on a sale probably not bad.

BEWARE, this chair does not live up to the marketing hype in its title. We bought two of these chairs on April 29, 2025, because of the verbiage in the title - big and tall - and also because of the advertised weight limit capacity (no one who has used the chair can be considered as big nor tall nor have they come near maxing out the weight limit). We bought these chairs because the marketing indicated that they would be comfortable for Senior citizens. These chairs are not used daily nor are they used for long periods of time since we are retirees and they are used in our home office for comfortable seating while we play computer games or do household budgeting type activities. We have now owned these chairs for only 10 months and the gas lift on one of them has failed. If no one is seated in the chair, it will rise when the lever is pulled but the chair drops to its lowest level as soon as anyone sits in the chair. The weight of the person seated in the chair makes absolutely no difference - our 6-year-old grandson can sit in the chair and the chair immediately drops to its lowest level. Of course, at its lowest point this chair is much too low for anyone to use the desk and worse, the chair is so low that it is extremely difficult for Seniors to get out of. In other words, this chair quickly becomes useless. Sadly, we did not buy the available warranty since we met the criteria of the marketing and did not think that it was necessary. We have contacted the seller about this issue but we have had absolutely no response. Do not believe the title; the marketing wording sounds wonderful, but this chair is not for big and tall people nor for people who weight over 250 lbs. Truthfully, I am not sure who this chair is designed for, so beware.

If you’re looking for a very basic uncomfortable chair, essentially one used for short periods of sitting, this could be a good fit. If you’re looking for durability and comfort, DO NOT buy this chair. I did my research and ended up buying a LaZboy executive chair and it’s extremely durable and comfortable. Night and day! Happy sitting!

Frankly, when I first got the chair, it was fine, more or less. The top of the back has a part with extra cushioning, which was kind of uncomfortable since it was firm and pressed into my shoulder blades, but otherwise, it was alright.However, after about 3 months, the problems started to show up. Even with the mechanism under the chair locked in to keep it from tilting back, the back still leaned back far enough to where I couldn't even comfortably eat while sitting in it, the material on the arm rests started to crack and split (the material covering the cushioning, not the hard plastic), and the cylinder started to behave inconsistently (sometimes it wants to be at max height when I'm not sitting in it, and sometimes it will want to stay at the minimum height). Mind you, despite this being a "big and tall" chair, I'm only barely over the suggested weight capacity of your average office chair, and well below the weight capacity of this one, so this isn't a user weight issue. I'd hate to see what happens to this chair when someone who's 350+ pounds has to use this thing, because I can't imagine it would hold up well to regular use.All that said, it's still functional as a chair, but leaves a lot to be desired. I'd consider giving it fewer than three stars, but I've had office chairs where, after a few months, the arm rests split open, giving no support to the back, so they can't be sat in at all. The three stars is only because this can still be used, despite its issues.

Comfortable and the instructions were easy to understand. Comes with an alan wrench but I suggest getting a ratcheting tool or it will take forever.

Love the color. Nice looking. Not bad for the price was easy to put together. Just needs more padding on the seat.

Maybe it's just me but I put it together two weeks ago and it's broken already screws popping out so I'm gonna work on it and see if it was a mistake. I made would appreciate a video detail video of how to assemble. Also, I'd like to add it's not comfortable Chair at all the back is just like straight up very uncomfortable.
