Ergonomic Blue Mesh Drafting Chair, Adjustable Foot Ring

My picture doesn't do any justice in showing the massive size, but it's a real good office chair while working from home. I attempted to mimic the Steelcase or even OFM drafting chairs with a more affordable price and oh boy I got lucky. It supports my lower back and helps my poster (as long as I don't slouch on purpose throughout the day). Now I need to find a headrest to add separately to help with my neck support. Any suggestions would be great!

This is a cheap chair. If you go into it with that in mind then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I thought this would have been a bit nicer than the cheap ones, but unfortunately it is not.My seat came with a hole in the seat cushion caused by it rubbing on another item on the box during shipping (the box was in pretty bad shape when I got it). Also, the chair uses a rivet-type female end on the fasteners for the seat. They aren’t installed in very good alignment with the holes in the chair arms that connect to them. One of the river spun in the wood seat plate, and the only way i could get the screw back out without destroying the seat and the arm I was connecting to it was by cutting off the screw with a hack saw blade. After which I had to drill a new hole and install a lag screw to replace the abandoned fastener (see photo). I’m seeing other reviews with similar experiences, so I’d say it is a toss up weather you get a good chair, or one like mine (and others).For the cost, I’d spend a little extra and go buy a nice office chair unless you’re willing (and have the tools) to battle a bad one of these if you end up with one. Food for thought.

Its a perfect 'Counter height' chair! It was easy for me to put together with the provided Allen wrench. The seat is very large, thick and so comfortable! The foot ring is adjustable but I don't usevit because it isn't far enough out for my legs to be bent at a 90 degree angle which is the best ergonomically. I place my feet on the shelves under my desk instead. I like that the arms can be raised too. Great chair for the price!

I built a taller gaming desk and needed a teller chair with retractable arms and that can still tilt back. Very few options that have all of these attributes. This chair meet all the criteria. It's well made, nit sure why people would say otherwise. I had one small issue with one of the screw holes not being tapped all the way, they sent me a new seat so I didn't have to send back the entire chair. Great customer support.

The chair was assembled rather easily although there were no instructions. It is quite comfortable and allows for ease in maneuvering. After assembling the chair a tear was noticed on the mesh of the backrestThe chair was advertised with a foot rest but did not come with one.

My free office chair received from work wasn’t acting right so I had to copy after my sister! She have same office chair and I love it! It was easy to install, easy to use, comfortable, it support my lower back, so ergonomic and I waited for a good while until price drop on amazon to buy it.

Love the chair so far, added different wheels but it definitely is nice, it's my first drafting chair and as a tall person I wasn't sure if this would be tall enough I'm 6'4" but for my custom desk the hegth of my monitors to my head while I'm sitting actually works, I don't really sit back I sit up right so when I do lean back it's not bad, I didn't get it to sit all day.but to break up a day of standing at my desk all day and it met my expectations. Although I expected assembly to be more challenging based on the comments but I was actually really really easy I did it myself in like an hour maybe max.

I've had this chair for about a week. As a 6 foot 200 pound man, I find the seat cushion to be quite uncomfortable after a few hours. I held out and paid more for a quality chair with "leather". While I like nearly everything else about it, I'm not impressed with the quality of foam within seat cushion. It fully compresses quickly leaving no cushion for the bum. My bum feels as if it's sitting at the base of whatever the cushion sits on. I feel I need an additional cushion on top to make it comfortable but then I've defeated my purpose of getting "leather". Has me concerned about how long this chair will last.UPDATE:I'm into this five months now and it really isn't a comfortable chair for me at 6'0. I wish the bottom seat would adjust forward/backwards to help support the rest of my upper leg. My upper legs get quite uncomfortable from the seat hitting where it hits. ...and still not impressed with the comfort of the cushion.UPDATE (6/2/2024):The small round metal washer like pieces stabilizing the chair continue to fall from beneath the chair. I'm not sure there are any left after several have broken and dropped. Only two years old and this chair continues to fall apart.

The chair arrived on time and was packaged nicely! The parts were separately packaged which made organizing the parts a bit easier. The instructions were terrible, and bordered on the useless - the pics attached show the entirety of the instructions! Makes IKEA look like geniuses! Assembling was quite hard even after figuring out the right sequence. You essentially have to force the backrest part of the char and screw in 4 screws to hold it in place while keeping it in tension. Essentially your muscle power and forcing the bend of the material replaces using a tension support band/wires/rods at the back. Absolutely awful in design, materials, and assembly. The cushion + seat have a funky plastic-like smell. Reading the labels says it complies with _some_ of the formaldehyde regulations. The smell makes me wary of the whole thing. I've left it in the garage to "degass" it - hopefully the stench will go away after a week.tl;dr - skip this chair if you have the budget to get a better one.

It had a hole on the net on the lower part of the back rest but I did buy a used version so it’s all good. Buy used goods my peeps, our planet is dying.Ergonomically speaking it’s a decent chair, a bit in the tall side for me (5’3”) even though on the lowest setting also it’s easy to assemble.

the seat cushion is insufficient, I had to add 2 of the 1/2" memory foam cushions or after 30 minutes it's like sitting on a wood stool. Other than that it was mostly above average, good height range, fixed foot-rest, and good arm rests. after about 11 months one of the seat bolts worked its way out, and when I went to re-tighten it, no luck, it crossthreaded or otherwise jammed. the seat back was still pretty stable but would make a loud creak and scrape sound every time you lean on the left armrest as the plastic seat back scraped against the half threaded bolt. attempted disassembling and cleaning out all the bolt holes and reassembling, all other bolts went in fine but this one and can't stand that scraping sound. so now I have a $150 bunch of junk sitting on the floor. lesson learned, I can pay $150/year for cheap chairs, or $900 one time. I will go with a name brand for my next chair.

Initial impressions:Very comfortable, but assembly was awful. I'm a handyman for small businesses and have assembled more office furniture than I even want to think about. Most everything went smooth, instructions were easy, hardware pack was clearly labeled. The last step is assembling the back to the seat, which I don't care what chair you have that part's always a pain.However two of the inserts weren't threaded all of the way. You can see in my pictures the screws bottomed out inside the insert. One gave out and is now a free spinning in the seat I can't even back the screw out. The other one after working it back and forth for 10 minutes I was able to get more than halfway in, but still not tighten all the way. I didn't want to crank on it for fear of breaking that one free inside the wood as well. So I have two that aren't screwed down all the way and hopefully the loctite on the other two will manage the hold things well enough.Not worried about it or else I would contact them and see about a return or exchange or something I think it'll manage just for me but there's a small quality issue there.Comfort wise the seat is fantastic lumber support is great bottom cushion is great I love that I can flip up the armrest and hold the guitar. I'm looking forward to using this.

Had this chair for about 6 months. Working from home, it’s comfortable and holding up well! The arms raise up out of the way so it can be fully pushed under the desk, and lowered when I want armrests.

Tough to follow. No written instructions - just the pictures. Thankfully, I read the reviews before I purchased this item. They were in my head while I was assembling, and that helped a lot! If you can have someone ready to assist with assembling the arms of the chair, please do. You will thank me later. It was tough aligning the screws by myself at this part. * The Allen wrench (provided) is the only tool needed to assemble this chair. * It took me about an hour, taking my time with the directions & the assembly. OVERALL: A very solid, quality chair. I look forward to giving it a workout with 10-12 hour business days from home during Covid. Comfort & back support are key. If my expectations do not meet my goals with this chair, I will update my review. I am hopeful, though!

An update to my previous review less than a year ago: The hydraulics died. I was sitting there doing my work and found myself slowly sinking. Now I've got to buy a replacement cylinder. It's still a good chair for the money._______________________This is a very stylish, good-looking chair. Super easy to assemble. Very comfortable. I have a workbench I bought at a home improvement box store that I can either stand or sit at - and this chair is perfect for when I want to sit. I don't have to adjust the desk either. I just leave it at the standing height and use the chair when I need it. My back can be problematic and this has great support for the lumbar region. The padding is substantial and very supportive.Since I work from home, I figured I'd invest in the comfort of my work environment since I work quite a bit. I didn't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a chair that compliments the industrial-techy but feminine look I was going for. I like the white - I wasn't sure if that would work but it looks great. The fabric is nice as well, and I'm glad I'm not going to sweat on it like a leather chair when the weather gets warm.

Really good deal! The red color is very bright and the chair is very comfortable. The only concern is the overall height o the chair. It’s shorter than expected, but not a dealbreaker. Great chair overall!

This has been an excellent chair for me so far. It was very easy to assemble, and it performs fine for me. I was looking for a chair to use occasionally for my stand up desk and this is a great option for me. The major drawback for me are the armrests feel itchy. On the seat it is fine, but I find the material to be irritating on the forearms. If you agree, it's a very easy fix. Just remove one screw on the front of the arm rest, raise the armrest up where you can loosen the top portion from the bolt in the lower portion. Remove the fabric piece, and re-wrap it in a new fabric. I took an old black "dry fit" type golf shirt and wrapped the existing fabric with this old shirt. You can use some short staples to tack it in place temporarily until you get it screwed back on. Now they feel great and no one can tell that it wasn't designed that way.

This chair has been the best purchase I have made for my office space since I bought my standing desk! I telework from my home 100% of the time now. I was just using one of those really nice, leather cushioned, height adjustable bar stools to rest my derrier every now and then; but I took new position that involves a LOT of meetings, some of them a lot longer than others, that I can’t possibly stand through; especially with a herniated disc in my neck. My bar stool was not doing me any favors in that area. So I started searching for ergonomic standing desk chairs. I toiled for days going back and forth between different websites, stores, etc. comparing pricing and different features. There were SO many options with all sorts of fancy descriptions and fancy pricing to go right along. I finally threw my hands up and settled on this one. And what a good deal I got for the price! Everything about it is just right! The height, the seat, the arms, the lumbar support, everything. I read some reviews that complained that the chair would “sink” a few inches when they sat in it. But the “give” is part of the ergonomics. I stand at 5’2” and weigh 135 lbs, and it does give when I sit but not so much that it affects my comfort. The curved seat provides good hip support, and the cushion is very soft but not too “squishy.” I can sit in this chair for my full 8 hour work day, and I don’t get stiff. The arm rests are just the right height with soft padding. It doesn’t recline, but that is not a feature I was looking for. It rolls easily across my tile floors or the thin foam mat I have in front of my desk. The round foot rest easily adjusts up and down and the chair rotates easily. I think this chair is as comfortable if not more comfortable than some of the chairs I tried out in-store that were double the price.

It's a big improvement over my last tall chair, but the fabric is a little rough for me. Also I didn't find enough back support at all, even though it looks like it should be good. It's also a little shorter than I wanted, but that's my carelessness at checking seat height. I put a large blanket over it and it's tolerable so far. I wouldn't recommend this chair. I like the movable arm rests, so I don't have to feel the fabric on my forearms. It looks nice enough. Putting it together was pretty simple, and they included extra bits if needed.
