Rising well beyond the reach of a standard desk chair, this drafting chair climbs on a heavy gauge steel pneumatic column to true counter height, topped with a black mesh backrest stretched taut across a metal frame for breathable support through long shifts. A 26 inch base underpins the assembly, keeping the seat planted and level even at its tallest extension.
Built for a category of seating ordinary office chairs were never asked to fill, from laboratory benches and teller windows to raised drafting stations, the design pairs flip up arms that tuck the chair against tight counters with a synchronized foot ring that travels up and down with the seat column. Rated to a genuine 300 pound capacity for sustained commercial use, this configuration is produced in limited batches with no guarantee of restock once the current run sells through.
