Damaged or Wrong Item

If My Order Arrived Damaged or Defective?

We're committed to providing our customers with high-quality products. In the rare event that you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We may need photographs of the damage or defect in order to process your request. Once we have reviewed your request, we will let you know what to do with the damaged item. In some cases, our carrier may need to collect the item for inspection. Thank you for your understanding as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Please note that if one or more items you've purchased require freight shipping, delivery may take slightly longer. This is because freight carriers handle packages that are too large, heavy, or fragile to ship with small package carriers like FedEx. Most freight carriers deliver during business hours Monday through Friday. However, please be aware that customers living in remote areas may have restricted delivery dates or hours.

In most cases, someone will need to be present to accept and sign for the shipment at delivery.

If signature is required, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment once your order arrives at the freight depot in your area. If signature is not required, the item will be delivered to the first dry area or front door of the residence or business when it is safe to do so. This type of delivery does not include a delivery appointment, similar to ground shipping.

If you receive your order and notice any damages or shortages, please let us know right away and we'll be happy to help. If the shipment is severely damaged, we recommend refusing delivery and notifying us as soon as possible. Photographs of the damage will help us resolve the issue more quickly. Please note that it is important for the person who placed the order to inspect the product upon delivery and sign the delivery document.

Received the Wrong Product Color?

If you received your item and it doesn't match the exact color of what was ordered, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We may be able to provide replacements at no charge.

Please note that there are some rare cases where shade variance may occur between the product image and the actual item. This can happen due to a number of factors, including but not limited to:

• Computer monitors settings (e.g., luminance, brightness, contrast, and various other personal settings)

• The product photographs are taken under bright lights in order to be as detailed as possible, so there may be some shade variance when the items are placed in a room with dimmer lighting. Thanks for your understanding.

If you need to return an item because it's the wrong product, please include photos of both the product and its packaging (to show the product description / SKU). These pictures will help us immensely as we work with the manufacturer to resolve your request quickly. If you haven't unpacked the item yet, and the labeling on the outside of the box clearly shows that it's the wrong item / color option, you can just send a photo of the shipping carton; you don't need to unpack the product in these cases. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

We will let you know what to do with the incorrect item(s) after your request has been processed. In some cases, the manufacturer may need to collect the item(s). We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by the repackaging process, which is necessary to ensure the retrieval is successful.

DISAPPOINTED

⭐️ 1-Star Review: “Didn’t Even Last a Year — Completely Fell Apart”

I got this chair last Christmas, and it hasn’t even made it a full year before falling apart. First, the hydraulic lift went out. I’m only 230 lbs, well within the weight limit, so there’s no reason it should have failed. The chair kept sinking lower and lower until it wouldn’t stay up at all.

Then the armrest literally fell off. The screws popped out on their own, and now they won’t go back in because the holes are stripped or just poorly made. The arm is unusable, and the chair feels unstable overall.

For something that wasn’t cheap, this kind of quality is unacceptable. It looks nice at first, but it’s built so poorly that it won’t last. I regret buying it — definitely choose a different chair.

Not sure if it will last

First impressions are not good. Screws and mounting holes seem poorly machined. Stiff as a board, hoping the cushions will break in. Did not realize the "lumbar" support is a cheap pillow and not built into the backrest. Will see how it goes, but not optimistic.

Not appropriate for Big and Tall

I used the chair for about a year and a half. Then every time I would lean to reach something a wheel would pop off and I would almost fall. Fortunately I have quick reflexes abd would catch myself before I fell. I found out that the wheel base is made of plastic and easy to break. For the cost of the chair, I would not recomnend purchasing due to plastic parts
Not appropriate for Big and Tall.

Chair is uncomfortable to sit in for more than an hour. Chair back leans back to much to support a user while sitting up. I've had the chair for four months and the hydraulic piston has already failed. I'm a big guy but I don't weigh 400lbs.
I wish I had returned it. Don't buy this product.

Didn’t know the wheel base was plastic I would not have ordered this chair otherwise. Heating and massage is horrible.

Unsafe cheaply manufactured - Read the Review

Can I give this product negative stars, or is 1 star the only option?

I purchased this unit and had fiance assemble it. While not difficult, the box and packaging was cumbersome as its LARGE and filled the room. First glance: a nice looking chair. Sat it in and found it to be stiffly supportive but comfortable and felt like ithe cushions just needed to be broken in. (Noting someone else's review stating that they wished the lumbar pillow could be stationed at the neck? Me too, man. Me too.) The chair was not used the first day at all as it was assembled in the evening. I treated it as a standard desk chair, respectfully not wanting to just flop or lean hard since it's new. Day #2, also okay. Day #3, I BARELY leaned against the back and heard (and felt) a pop - I fully expected to see some metal bolt piece sheared off, and there was nothing. I remember feeling confused, as I hadn't put enough pressure to bend a finishing nail let alone shear a bolt on a chair meant for almost 400lbs.

Afterwards, the chair began to partially recline in a way it hadn't before at the most gentle touch of my back and eventually had a diagonal "wiggle", or lean, to it no matter which direction the chair was in relation to the casters. I immediately contacted AOSOM who seems to be the parent company of Homcom, and chatted with a pleasant agent for almost 90 minutes. After suggesting that this safety issue posed risk, she offered to provide parts and sent me a picture to chose from what I needed. When I described the TOTAL lower assembly, she suggested that I return it and afterwards they'd send me a new replacement. Clearly, that wasn't going to work for me. The box was disposed of, and she recommended that I find another means of shipping at my own cost. I explained that not only could I no longer do that, but that I had no way of transport, which was why I had it shipped in the first place. I believe she offered a discount, but quickly navigated away from that as I mentioned a safety issue again. She reluctantly offered to send me a total replacement, free of charge and I happily accepted that offer.
To be clear, the piece that had broken was a metal grommet that is located inside of a welded metal rivet. It's inaccessible, not replaceable in and of itself. If I had a drill and time to drill out a rivet and replace weldments with all thread, nuts and put it back together, it may have had a chance... but I'm not risking someone tipping over with injury to that comedy with a brand new item. I'll leave that to grandpa Joseph's old wrought iron bench to create more war time stories.

This story doesn't end there.

Fiance assembled the second chair, begrudgingly with the ever present, "I just did this for you." glare while he did it all over again. "Don't break it this time." I spent some hours wondering if I'd mistreated the first one, or if I was really just losing it.

I absolutely babies the second one. All the next (first) day of use, it was just fine. In fact, it actually felt a bit more snug in the hips than the first. Losing it, I asked myself? I went out into the yard and sat in the first one, where it had now found a home while waiting on curb pickuo. Nope. Roomier, by 4 inches. Fine. What ever. It's a more slim seat, and I could deal with that. In fact, I checked the grommet on the new one to find that the metal grommet was surrounded by a piece of plastic, like a second nut overlay, projected to keep it from busting. - alas, on day #2, it broke again in the exact same place. Same lay back without pressure. Same wiggle. - back to customer support with AOSOM. The following customer service conversation took 90 minutes or better with the EXACT same prompts and an occasional edit of small word answers. It was an absolute battle of insisting that it is not the customers responsibility to be financially provisional and supply a massive repack box and pay for shipping to return an UNSAFE item that posed eminent risk of injury. The chap on the other end of the line finally gave in and offered a refund that he had no way of tracking. No email. No confirmation. Let me tell you how many screen shots I took of that conversation....

The total cost was refunded and my yard has 2 chairs awaiting bulk pickup. (The thing weighs about 50lbs after assembly.)

My best advice.... if you chose this product, know that you're wasting money on abhorrently cheap product. If this review helps to navigate you to a better chair, then you've saved yourself a TON of hassle.

I hope that AOSOM has their manufacturer change the quality of this high stress point of critical failure, in at which case I may consider trying another chair or editing this review to be more favorable.

Buyer beware, and good luck.

Comfortable and sturdy for daily office work

Chair is quite comfortable and sturdy, but the massaging feature rattles the chair enough that it is a bit annoying to use. It's coming from the lever that adjust the height of the chair which I cannot tighten. I sorta fixed it by hanging a small weight on the end of the lever which seems to dampen the vibration enough to not rattle. Odd issue that seems like it could have easily been engineered out at the factory.

Anywho, the heated seat is lovely and the foot rest is solid. I do wish the pillow had a strap around it to be able to be used as a neck pillow without falling down the second you lean forward, but I get that it's supposed to be a lumbar pillow.

Overall great chair and I'm keeping it.

Fair

I bought this chair specifically due to its weight limit. I am 100 lbs less than it says it can handle and yet after using it for 6 weeks it is dropping down, slowly at first but now it drops in pretty quickly after sitting. Great chair for comfort, heat and massage is nice, would work best for someone under 200lbs.

Not the greatest

It’s not as comfortable as it looks. Seat is very firm, not cushy at all. The massager is also loud when turned on.

Comfortable and sturdy

Bought this chair for my wife to replace a lazyboy that was getting worn down. Very easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes using the Allen wrench supplied. Appears to be pretty sturdy and good quality. The vibration from the message is very good. Not too loud either. She was using it the other day on a video call. Bought this chair for the massage because she works from home 3 days a week. She likes the heat option and it works well. The only complaint is the chair is made for taller people. It is a little big for her. Also the arms do not adjust. Other than thst she loves it.

Comfortable, easy to put together

Got this for my office and I love it. It has a nice wide sear and the back curves around the shoulder area and is just very comfortable. It only took me about 15-20 minutes total from start to finish to assemble. Very soft fabric. Feels very sturdy.

Massage features stop working

Only had the chair 1 week and the massage feature stopped working. This was the main reason I purchased so I’m highly disappointed

Great office chair

I bought this for my hubby , he is a construction worker and gets home with body aches from work and age, he has it in his garage den space, he calls it his office. He loves everything about it , he is big and tall, perfect size for him, the massage features just hit the right spot, it reclines comfortably back and the foot rest comes out that he actually falls asleep and I have to call him back inside at 1am. Best Buy ever!!

Uncomfortable and very weak return policy

I had high expectations for this chair. Delivery was quick, although the delivery driver left the box in the driveway during a rainstorm. Ringing the doorbell would have been nice.
Assembly was quite easy.
Used for a week as my primary office chair and every day after work my lower back ached terribly. Reached out to the third party vendor and their return policy is weak at best. I ended up keeping the chair with a 20% refund as that was the cheapest "out" I had with this company.
I would not recommend this chair for a person who works at home. I am 5'6 and about 180#'s so not overly big or small.

Chair

Easy to assembly, comfort, sturdy, the added features of heat and vibration work when they want which is unfortunate
